Mangoes from Mexico

A headline on the front page of the Victoria Times Colonist today:
     Grocers going all in to weed out goods from US
There's a real backlash to the recent tariffs being imposed on Canadian goods by the US. Many shops are identifying Canadian goods with Canadian flag stickers. Many shoppers are buying goods from countries other than the US. Today we bought mangoes from Mexico and other produce from local growers. I'm making a real effort to buy from any country other than the US,  and we've always bought local goods as much as possible anyway. What unnecessary bad feelings and anger have been created by the tariffs! The ordinary people in both countries are the ones who will feel the impacts of the tariffs most.  :-(
