Hawkcraig Point, Aberdour

A quick visit to Aberdour this afternoon.  A lovely sunny day with blue skies.

I first went to the harbour with the intention of collecting more paint textures from the boats on the harbourside.  Unfortunately, with the lift-in imminent, most were sporting new coats of paint so distressed paint textures were hard to find.

Luckily I did find a couple, which was fortunate, because I needed them to make an otherwise plain blue sky, more interesting.

The tide was in and only a single rock remained exposed above water.  I used that as the foreground interest for my view of Hawkcraig Point as seen from the beach at the bottom of Shore Road.
