Wood Pigeon flypast

In my garden this morning and managed to catch a photo of this beautiful adult Wood Pigeon fly past. My birding chums all say "Oh no, not another Wood Pigeon photo" - it's the bird we all practice taking pictures of whilst waiting for something more exotic. The reality is that Wood Pigeons declined by 19% last year and nobody really knows why, they seem so common they are often overlooked or even cursed.
