Humpty numpty above said - Hey let's go and see an open air production of Much Ado About Nothing. We can take a picnic and wine and everything. it'll be fun!

We met in the afternoon to go shopping for our elaborate and posh picnic which we duly prepared only to arrive at the venue to find it worryingly empty. Somebody got the date wrong and it's actually next week.

Still, it turned out to be a lovely evening where we scoffed our picnic by the walls overlooking the canal (and resident rats), drank our wine and waffled away the evening as the sun went down (do we sound like vagrants?)

Earlier today, I had a very random job offer involving the local zoo and photoshop (!) I said that I'd be busy all summer but apparently that was ok and it could be a winter job. I'm definitely interested.
