Melrose by the Tweed….

…..it’s not actually called that, but it’s certainly by the River Tweed. In fact this version of Melrose is 3 miles from Old Melrose. They’ve got a habit of re-using names here. I live in St Boswells and the next village is Newtown St Boswells. It plays havoc with the delivery drivers.

It looks like our roofing project will be underway this weekend, sooner than expected but I’m not complaining.

An afternoon of digging awaits so I’m out for a pootle on m’bike in the sunshine.
