La Quille with its Background Mountains

Firstly, huge thanks for all the enthusiasm for yesterday’s strange sunrise, I almost threw it away! 

Today we skied at the Glacier 3000m and I tried to find more interesting angles to photograph as you have seen every possible view up here in all my blipping years. I had never consciously noticed the mountains behind La Quille but the 300mm lens suddenly brought the distant Dent d'Herens at 4,173m into focus. It’s a beautiful peak often overlooked by higher mountains around it.
