Another frosty start to the day followed by lots of sunshine.  Took Tess for a walk up Falcon Crag which overlooks Derwent Water.  Had a sit down for a while just taking in the scenery and listening to the birds.  Saw a bird I've not seen before and quickly opened up the Merlin bird app and it came up with best suggestions -  Peregrine Falcon, so not really sure.  Afterwards stopped off at Bassenthwaite to see if Tess might have a paddle.  She did very briefly but was more interested in sniffing around.  I think maybe in the summer when she sees other dogs in the water she might be interested.  Postcard with Tess in extras and the tree is at Bassenthwaite.
