Violets

I prepared myself for a day of being confined to the house and wrote a list of tasks to occupy myself: Hang washing out, handwashing, prepare dog food, clean oven shelf.

The structural surveyor arrived shortly after 9.30am, the appointment time and declared at 10am that he was 'all done'!  I said we'd been told the survey would take 3-8 hours.  He seemed surprised at that.  

I usually head to town on Wednesday but thought it better to carry on with my list of tasks.  I took the hound for a leisurely walk in the sunshine.

Back home carried on with my tasks.

Had my Readeasy student in the afternoon. 

Made baked potatoes with cheesy leek and onion sauce. 

Milder evening tonight.
