Oedipus and other guys in London

What a great afternoon! Met Nancy outside The Old Vic around 1pm and we had a leisurely lunch in Pret before seeing the matinee performance of Oedipus with Rami Malek in the title role. Our stalls seats were very very near the stage - too close for a curtain photo but great for watching the performance. It was a thought provoking production that Nancy and I subsequently processed over a few glasses of wine and a meal at the former Waterloo Fire Station and now restaurant bar before eventually going our separate ways home. So good to see her again. 

Maddy gave me a lift home from Chelmsford station at 8pm and now (23.00) we are finally proof reading her uni assignment due tomorrow!
