Ruin

We had a quiet day, I say we, but probably mean just me, as TT had another day of marking to keep him busy. I pottered and did a few chores, with a wee walk thrown in for good measure. It was a nice day, but not as nice as the last coupke of days.

Later in the afternoon I tried to persuade TT that he needed some fresh air, but I failed. I walked up to the ruin if Barnes Castle, somewhere I haven’t been for a very long time. It’s been nice to be able to walk again this weekend, with no pain in my hip. My step count has increased compared to the past few weeks.

Once home I cooked a salmon and leek traybake for tea. It was very nice. We had calls with BB and TT’s mum this evening, and a wee bit of TV.

This is the ruin of Barnes Castle in the Garleton Hills.
