Ice Cream Weather

A chilly start but then another very sunny day. I was volunteering at Save the Children this morning. It was good to have our manager back (she decided that she couldn’t live without us).
I had an eye test booked in the afternoon. The good news is that my prescription hasn’t changed but not so good is that I have signs of pre cataracts. As they had to dilate my pupils, I couldn’t drive home and had to call Mr P to take me back. He was on Tweed Wheels duty but luckily on a break, so he had time to enjoy an ice cream.
I spent the rest of the afternoon sitting out in the garden and then this evening Mr P and I were back at St Joseph’s for a parish meeting.
