Familiar & F = Family

This is Rowan a German Spitz (Mittel), he is a huge member of my FAMILY, Rowan was Born with out eyes, and as you see him here he is very FAMILIAR with his surroundings, this is part of our garden which is safe and enclosed so Rowan is able to go off lead and explore till his hearts content.

Rowan is now 4 yrs old, I have done so much with him, and we still have more to do, he has raised money for German Spitz Welfare by passing his Good Citizen Bronze, he is also a P. A. T. ( Pets as therapy) Dog, so that means we visit people in care homes etc. We are hoping to starting visiting children with special needs in the very near future. :-)

Rowan was bred by me, I have his mother, Aunt, Cousin, Grandmother, & grandfather, ( No he is not interbredhe is whats nown as a total outcross) this is a very rare condition, so as you can imagine I was shocked when he didnt open his eyes at 10 days old.
Most people told me I should have him put to sleep as he wouldnt have a good quality of life, So Rowan and I proved them all wrong :-) we have even been on the Alan Titchmarsh show LOL. he is lively & happy, just like all the others.
So as you can see, he is one speacial little man, and I thought I would share this with you all in my Blip today :-)
