FISH TALES

My house was a busy place, inside & out
today, with the painters finishing the last details. They did a great job & I am very happy with how it turned out. Angus was
so friendly to them, too.

Outside was equally as busy. A few weeks
ago, my fountain with goldfish, had
multiple disasters. Thankfully, my neighbor recommended a guy who builds & maintains koi ponds. He came with his
knowledgeable staff to deal with the
debacle. They put my 9 goldfish in this
large container with an aerator. I put this wire fence over it to protect them against raccoons. They seem to be doing very well.

Repairing my fountain is a huge dirty &
complicated endeavor. The guys should finish tomorrow & all the new equipment will be up & running. (Fingers crossed)

I always tell my children: if you can make
a problem go away, (legally) by writing a check, then do it & don’t look back. This problem is a perfect example- -it is expensive, but the hardest part was finding the right person willing to do the work.

After tomorrow, when it’s all up & running,
the fish will be so happy.
