Dunnock

Some lovely days we have quite a choice of blips. Today was one of them.

Beautiful sunrise as I swam. Gorgeous blue skies so I headed for the Wolseley Centre. Lots to see.

Merlin heard the kingfisher but I didn’t see him.

I spent a wonderful hour just watching, enjoying the colours and the scenery, and listening for birds. 

The water rail was near the bird hide (extra).  There was an obliging Goosander (extra). Just pure magic.

As I headed for the shop I heard this Dunnock singing his heart out. Just sums up how I feel.
