My stick
It's husband and I 14th wedding anniversary today. Can't believe it was that long ago. I made the 3rd attempt at sourdough loaf this one is much better and less like the About a Boy (movie reference) duck loafs of the last two attempts It's a steep learning curve but I'm getting the idea for it it just is so unique in its behaviour and temperamental with so many different variables that affect it like temperature of room flour dough and the type of flour the activeness of the starter how it's handled etc etc etc and I think our altitude may affect it too. Anyway starting to learn the signs of how it's doing so I can adjust and rectify along the way. But still far from getting it right. However the loaves have been tasty regardless. And it's quite fun learning something new. I also potted up all our tomato seedlings I say all as husband for some reason sewed 32. I mean I know a few won't make it but that's still a lot!! Definitely feeling a bit better but all that was tiring so lots of rests in between!
