The Bandstand

I walked through my lovely local park in Ventnor today. It has won many awards over the years. The sun was shining, the birds were singing loudly and, apart from a couple having a picnic and a few ducks, it was deserted. I counted my blessings, particularly as I was en route to visit a very sick friend.
