Swans on ice

Six swans have been around all day. Three young ones in the main blip, a panorama with all of them in the first extra.

Coming back from the pond, I saw a large flock of birds I didn't recognize. They were quite far, but I managed to get two photos with some of them in focus. One of them in extra #2. I found out that they were Snow Buntings, which I don't remember seeing here before. Another bird, a Grey-headed Woodpecker in the last extra.

The night was again frosty, but not enough to make a difference for the forest track. I hauled all the wood that I cut yesterday down to the road, some of it home, and cut one more tree. Four to go, but I'm afraid it's no go with the tractor now!
