A special day

Celebrating today my 60th birthday, here in Gondal during our trip around the state of Gujarat in India. In the morning we visited two different palaces of the maharaja. The older one with beautiful carvings and many different collections, e.g. teapots (see extra). The second one is newer, smaller, beautifully coloured and used as a heritage hotel. In the afternoon we were able to visit a small company with 60 employees and the client service department took my attention.

Back in the hotel we weren‘t any longer alone. Two other guests have arrived. But staff was great and organized dinner in two shifts. They prepared a great candle light dinner, with a birthday cake and beautiful decoration. I’ll keep many nice memories from this special day.
