Salt line
This is the latest installation in the courtyard at Somerset House. I was in London for a couple of meetings at the Rolls Building, having first driven my youngest daughter's car back to her home in Sydenham. She was spending the day in a team meeting at an office building in New Square close to the courts. After giving her back her car keys, I walked back across Waterloo to meet a former NHS colleague. The pictured tapestries were fixed with salt and there is a lengthy explanation about the whole project in the poster shown in the extra photo. In essence, the installation is intended to explore salt as a symbol of resistance, memory and interconnectedness.
