I was anticipating either finding somewhere to go for which the singlespeed would be suitable or just putting up with the spiked tyres on my day off tomorrow, but gritted my chainwhip and swapped these out for the normal tyres during a break in other domestic loads. Fortunately, it turned out to be relatively easy due to the relatively mild and gunk-free winter and having adjusted the spikey wheels to fit the brakes rather than the other way round when I put them on.
