Guess what?!

New chickens! It seems chicks are about as plentiful as hen’s teeth are his year! :—)) Luckily I got the hook up at a local co op. She saved these for me by the hardest. Everybody wants chickens bc of egg shortage and prices. 4 Easter egg era ( one died before I claimed them) and 5 white leghorns. Plan to get 5 or 10 more if possible. It’s turned cold agin so they are temporarily living in the bathroom. We have their area ready but it is predicted to be below freezing tonight.
We had a good day today. I had an eye appointment. All went well thankfully. I’m grateful one organ system is functioning properly! :—) Just kidding. I am actually feeling a lot better!
