Lily (The Ruby Darlings)

A comparatively quick lunchtime visit to the Royal Mile today but I had time to enjoy some of the preview shows and take a few portraits. In particular the 'She Dances with Fate' flamenco dancer was very good. I do feel a bit sorry for some of the acts on these preview stages: you really have to stand out to attract any attention, given all that's going around you. Even the aforementioned flamenco dancer didn't attract an elbow-jabbing crowd.

I've chosen this posed-shot of a performer plugging her show. Being bribed with one of her 'Ruby Lips' sweeties might have influenced my decision.
