On the road again
As you guys know by now I lead a peripatetic life; I'm here, there and all over the place.
In order to allow my colleagues a little taste of this the university have been shifting the entire regional workforce around the building in East Grinstead. Ems blipped the empty space where we used to live and now that it has been rewired everyone is moving back in. So today I finished my work by labelling everything so that it can automagically be somewhere else when I'm next in the office. I have enough problems remembering the room number if I stay in two different hotels in a week so I've no idea how I'll know where I'm sitting in future; I hope they leave my name on the back of my chair. I hope you like the wallpaper on my screens - it's a shot from the Torremolinos gig in May.
And in all this Gill - my regular reader - will be moving from the second floor to the first floor so that's good too! Gill always lets me know whether my blippage has been acceptable whenever I see her in the office.
In other news - a calf was born in the field across the road last night. When I headed for work this AM John and some of the guys were taking a look to make sure that everything is okay. So that's nice isn't it?
We've really got this Thursday on the run. Just a tiny Friday and then it's the weekend! Grab a cold one and celebrate your successes.
