Crochet?

Another lovely sunny day although this morning was slightly misty.
I was able to get a sunny stroll round the harbour dodging the seagulls which were anxiously waiting for someone to throw them a chip.
This fender , off one of the smaller fishing boats,I thought it looked as though it had been crocheted :-)
