Must be Friday

“buy new shoes” was on my list of jobs today, so I walked up to a new shoe shop (that has been there for 6 months but I haven’t noticed). I found 2 pairs and they were 30% off so that was pleasing.

I cut Bob’s hair, there isn’t as much as there used to be. He used to have very thick black hair, now it is thinning and grey. Very distinguished. We started the day with 14mm of welcome rain, it was dry and I was needing to water the garden. These roses are some of the late ones, the main is Brass Band and the white one is Elina (I think) and about 3.5 m tall. 

We are watching a serial on Netflix called The Residence. It is a comedy murder mystery set in the White House and only released yesterday. I’m usually the last to see any films but this one caught my eye when Bob watched the first few episodes last night. He kept on laughing so I decided to join in.
