Chaenomeles

A busy day in the garden digging out an old bed of lavender and replacing it with some hebes. There are signs of spring all around now. I'm especially pleased with the chaenomeles. When we arrived here last year it had virtually no flowers. I gave it a severe pruning and it is now covered in flowers and buds.
