A beautiful, warm, and sunny spring day.

Gareth arrived late in the morning and spent the entire afternoon completing  the plumbing work in the kitchen—installing new pipes and a radiator, connecting the kitchen sink taps, wastes, and getting the dishwasher connected. Pat, the electrician, also called late afternoon to swap a socket outlet and replace it with one featuring USB charging ports.

Since we moved here in April 2023, we’ve been without a dishwasher, and in the meantime technology has come a long way. Both our new dishwasher and tumble dryer connect to the internet and can be controlled from our phones.
