Flower Friday

And a bit of a surprise too.  When my amaryllis bulb stopped blooming several weeks ago, I cut off the stem and thought that was it but, I saw a feint hint of green and thought I'd leave it and see what transpired.  Well, here it is, two small blooms opening with virtually no stem.  What a nice touch of color on a dreary, rainy and chilly morning.  Some snow will mix in before it ends this afternoon.  Winter isn't through with us yet it seems.
