On the River Teign

What a beautiful sunny day.  My husband and I were out with the local bird group on a walk along the river Teign.  We started at Single Bridge and slowly walked downstream.  We hadn't been out with the bird group for many years and given the location I was keen to go.  It was a very enjoyable day.  An early start with the morning sunlight filtering through the woodland as we walked.  Many birds were spotted although not in great numbers including a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, these two Mandarin Ducks, Dippers, Goosanders, Grey Wagtails and various Tits.

The sun was still shining as we returned.  It's been a very relaxing day.
