A busy few hours to start the day.

First I took some bags of garden greenery to the recycling site then drove along to Skelwith Bridge for a wander by the river. I’ve been avoiding that road because friends who have to use it always complain about the road works and temporary traffic lights. Trucks were arriving to set up more lights as I drove back.

I then parked in Ambleside and went to the Post Office and Tesco. Finally home to sit down and rest and it was only 9.30!

I started some garden jobs later but the weather turned dull, breezy and cooler so I’ve left them for another day.
