The Lesson...

You would think that I have missed enough 'wonderful' photos to have learned THE LESSON. Fletcher tries his best to gently remind me to carry my camera whenever we walk and usually I listen and lug it around. But not always, of course. During our walk today, sans camera, we watched as a flock of small birds flew into a tree above us. Another small flock of the same type of bird alighted in the top of another tree. I was able to snap a few shots with my phone but couldn't ID them until we got home. They were Cedar Waxwings! I LOVE Cedar Waxwings! Although we have them in our area, I seldom get to see them. So, here's a rather distant capture of these gorgeous little birds! m
