Himself back from his scan - not so loud and and uncomfortable as last time but he had to listen to Land of Hope and Glory and the cancan!  The initial observations came in pretty quickly and it seems he has tendonitis and mild arthritis in both hips  - the mild seemed a bit insulting as he is in quite a lot of continual pain and it's very restricting in what he can do. A follow up consultation will be in order. 
We then went off to our talk on the Otherworld - a long drive but an interesting and erudite  presentation.
This morning though poor Himself has vertigo and is feeling miserable - I blame the music. He has also lost a large filling - could that be the magnetism of the MRI scan? The pizza is postponed for the second time.
The cat is also feeling under the weather and very subdued.
I went into Bantry to get some lettuce seedlings and had a coffee and a long and and overdue catch up with Ginny. It was grey and threatening to rain and Bantry was looking a bit post-Patrick, the water in the fountain still bilious. The colours were good though.
