Altercation?

The shopfront painter in Lewes today looks like he's remonstrating with the gent calmly walking away down the High Street in the direction of the 'bottleneck'. But neither Mrs Catspaw nor I remember seeing (or hearing) any kind of altercation as we were passing along the opposite side of the road this morning.
