Picking again
Mrs B is repeatedly frustrated at the recurrence of litter; she walked up the (very steep) hill to cover almost all the same ground that we had a few days before. Here she is beyond her car while I went further towards the main road; I didn't do more myself as I'm watching out for my recovering foot.
Just to the right of where I'm standing is a rough layby, hidden from the main road by a tall hedge, where people quite frequently dump household items – see Extra, but in this case it's oil and stuff.
On the plus side, this view is ours nearly every time we head home, descending the hill to the village. We didn't know about this vista before we bought the house because we viewed it in winter, in early morning and late evening. It was a great surprise when we moved to the house for the first time, in glorious sunshine.
