Friday Tradition

Out for my regular walk on the Prom I saw my friend E and a friend of hers. I thought they might be down for a swim but no, they were gathering for their regular Friday late afternoon 'Chill-down' at one of the benches on the Prom. A tradition that started in Lockdown when they couldn't meet indoors and which they have continued since, with a few indoor meetings in the coldest weather. Much like L and her sisters weekly online catch-up which is still going (actually happening as I type) and also started in Lockdown. I wonder how many similar social activities that started in the dark days of Lockdown are still going on?
