Pheasant!

...In my Mum's garden.  I found that quite surprising - not honestly sure how unusual it is, but I've never seen one here before.

I had the day off work today, which made for a nice easy morning, getting myself up and packed, and then a good drive to my Mum's (albeit a bit slow in places).  Naomi (her former carer and current cleaner) was there when I arrived - nice to see her again :)  And so lovely to see my Mum, too <3  We had a nice chatty afternoon and evening, and I cooked us a salmon stir fry (as usual!) for dinner, accompanied by Tim's homemade wine, which went down well.
