Home for the day

Bed at 2330 last night.

Up at 0230 and on the road by 0300 (after a barn owl flew by my head while I was packing the car).

3 hour drive to a photo hide.

Arriving too early of course so napped in a lay-by until 0715 start time.

Hide until 1600.

Typically the nice weather of the past few days was on the turn and there was quite a wind, so most of the things I’d hoped might put in an appearance ….. didn’t!

After that a cross country single lane drive to visit my folks for couple of hours before driving back home again!

Now too tired for sleep!
