stairs to nowhere

four of us went out to dinner tonight and walked along the canal afterward. i'm stuffed to the core and now its out for celebratory "i got a job for the end of the summer" drinks. i'm going to miss home when i have to find my way back to connecticut. i'm disappointed. no one's following me back there, i have no one to take with me this time. i'll be a practical ghost on campus for my last semester. i'm hooked on the west wing now by the way. reminds me why i got into journalism to begin with.
