Caravan Opening Weekend!

Ran around like fun this morning before work as it is caravan opening weekend and we were heading off to Cromer after I finished work at 1.15.  The Dopski is staying at her friend H’s house for Fri and Sat nights, so it should have been just me and The Dadski going, but obviously we now have Big Bro too.

Finished work, packed, got The Dopski’s stuff to H’s mum and set off.  Took forever to get down to Cromer, but finally got there to find brand new gates on the site, locked securely with chains!  After Big Bro checked Facebook (I don’t do facebook) we found out that the site was really looking forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow!!!!  Oh, how we laughed!  Normally, we would have been able to just drive onto site, but the new gates put paid to that.

After a bit of research, we ended up travelling another hour down to Great Yarmouth to go into a Travel Lodge which would take dogs.  Yes, there were places closer but they were ‘more expensive’ (rolls eyes at Dadski).

Got there, straight to bed.  The Hound was a nightmare all night as she barked every time someone opened a car door, walked in the corridor, opened their bedroom, walked across the floor above us etc etc etc.  What larks!

Blip is the new domain name for a colleague’s new adventure.  She has designed a very useful bit of kit for SEND pupils and is in the process of getting it patented.  Very exciting times!  What this space!
