This drives me mad!!!

I hate when they don't consider pedestrians when doing roadworks. This is appalling. There wasn't any alternative or temporary footpath. Just the a shrug of the shoulders and a "they'll figure it out" If this was in the road there would be loads of thought about temporary traffic lights and alternative routes or diversions etc. Pedestrians and cyclists are treated as second class citizens in the uk compared to drivers. I also want to state that I'm all 3 so I have a good frame of reference.
