si has new friend 

sharkie comes to say hey at breakfast most mornings.  This is the most animated I have seen Si with one of these mascots.  I swear he is looking forward to each invasion of my space each morning.

Today it was rainy. Quite rainy. So we read in the morning  quote contentedly on the balcony.

Si also played me at Scrabble which was highly entertaining because I won 

Tonight the football was ob.  Difficult one.  Many Scottish lads over playing golf.  We expected a bit of jeering.  Si went and asked reception to find the England match for him which they did quickly.

We got a nice sofa and the game began.   Dearie me. It was a bit drearie.  Made better by karaoke starting in the next room and a five minute rendition of a Texas classic  torn to shreds in ways I could never have imagined 

Himself was quite content with the score if not the play.  As were the other 15 or so England fans who stopped astounded it was on 

I finished my book. rob rinder the trial.   Quite entertaining it was 
Oh.  I forgot. I did origami today too. Made two beautiful tulips   quite proud of myself
