Flowering quince

It was a wonderful morning today. After walking the dog on the way back home I took a few pictures. The conker doesn't show it from a distance but the buds have at long last started to burst open.

Instead of the conker tree I've gone for a flowering quince on the other side of the road. The angle wasn't great, but the result is pretty enough and I'm happy with the blip.

It's still cold at night and sometimes during the day, but it's now warm enough to open the office windows wide open for a few hours in the middle of the afternoon.
