SPONGE PUD.
It's a nice day today overcast but still warm, we need to make the most of it because it's going to rain next week.
Tony's been pottering in the garden this morning and I've made a jam sponge to have after our salad for lunch. I usually make it in the microwave from one of Jamie Olivers recopies. This time I made it like my Nan used to make it in a dish covered with foil and baking paper and a cloth over it to steam. This time it was moist and not dry like the other one, so I'll do it like this from now on.
