A nice pair
The last spuds from our land. A Desire and a Kennebek. They’ve been out of the ground now since September last year. Need cooked with lots of garlic, our last shallots, salt, pepper and rosemary and a mix of butter and olive oil (ours naturally).
I’ve chucked out boxes of smaller potatoes all run to shoots. It was a good year last harvest when I took a risk and planted early to limit the impact of the summer drought.
Many thanks for all the encouraging comments. We took a load of stuff to the new temporary apartment through thick fog. Cooking back at the house listening to the last part of Milan- San Remo. Raining there too.
