Lunch view

We arrived really late at Evenes Airport last night then had to walk about a mile to our hotel. This morning it was icy and slippery so we got a taxi back to the airport to pick up our hire car. I daren’t tell you how much the taxi cost.
We set off towards Svolvaer a couple of hours drive away. Every corner we turned there was another beautiful view. I do love these little colourful houses and farms.
In Svolvaer the sun was shining, the reflections in the harbour were lovely and we walked down through the town to a bit of rocky headland to see the sun go down. It was beautiful.
As we walked to the restaurant this evening there was a brief flicker of Aurora over the harbour.
