View from the top of Clougha Pike

We are having a few days away in Lancaster and decided to climb Clougha Pike. The route sounded lovely in the guide book, but I think since it was written the path has become upgraded to a gravel road, I expect to accomodate the Grouse shooting. So it was less attractive than we had anticipated and as a result I was in a bit of a grumbling mood as we trudged up it. But like child birth it was all soon forgotten when we got to the top and looked out towards the sea. As we came down the sun grew lower in the sky and looked rather wonderful but sadly this is the best I could manage on my phone.
