Flex
The flexi-hose was given a workout this morning as I tried to clean the dreck* off our terrace. Hosed, mopped but when dried (by the sun, not by me) there was still a fine layer of ash dust. I mean come on! Still, not as bad as last year’s Sahara sand which was a nightmare.
Otherwise, a large part of the day was spent sitting on the almost clean terrace enjoying the sun and reading a Tony Parsons book, The Slaughter Man. Easy holiday reading (thanks D&G!) before moving on to an eLibrary book, Murder in the Marais by Cara Black. It’s the first in a series so we’ll see if it’s the first or last that I borrow!
Later we hit another Italian place for dinner with Peter & Alex. Dorada from the grill, almost perfectly cooked, a great choice.
* ‘dreck’ and ‘dreckig’ are favourite German words of mine; they have a great Scottish feel to them!
