Ultimate Firefighter Challenge.

Another early start this morning to head up to Titanic Slipway to watch the Ultimate Firefighter Challenge with Amanda. It was so much fun! :) They had to do challenges testing their fitness, climbing, speed and rescue skills. These included climbing ladders and steps, rolling and unrolling hoses, dragging dummies around a course and general running around. The best part? They were all muscley and wearing tiny shorts. ;) It was awesome! We got some great pics taken with some very lovely firemen from the Czech Republic, Australia, France (they lifted Amanda, she was so exited) and here.

We then headed home, had some dinner, then went back up to Belfast to watch my Mounties play ice hockey. Sadly they lost. Helsinki Fire Dept 5-1 RCMP Buffaloes. After that, we went for a walk in the rain and paid a quick visit to the village.

The weather was lovely this morning/afternoon, so I have a lovely red face to match my red uniform... I don't have any more shifts, so plan to go cheer on my Mountie friend, Kevin in his game of pool.
