It was Natalie’s hen do today and three activities were planned.  First a bottomless brunch in Covent Garden.  Next stop Swingers in Oxford Circus, a sort of indoor crazy golf and last stop was the Flight Club in Victoria, an interactive darts game.

I bumped into Natalie and family on the tube but I waited at the station to meet Bex and Nat whilst the others walked off to the venue, The Piano Works.  A great venue to celebrate hen dos, 40s/50s birthday celebrations.  There is a live band playing for the 3 hours you are there and taking requests .  Food is included in your ticket but took quite a while to arrive and they come round and fill up your glasses.  Mr C was adamant that I should have a bacon roll before I left but I declined saying there is food there.  A good 3 hours of dancing and having fun.

We decided to walk to the next venue as Natalie’s sister was a bit unwell before we left.  I felt quite light headed on the walk there.  The venue was very busy and you had to wait to play.  It was also very hot.  After playing the second hole it was my turn to visit the loos and really that was the end of my day.

I’m not a drinker and only drink occasionally, happily stopping after a couple but I was unaware how much I drank due to them topping you up and as Mr C has reminded me several times since, I should have had that bacon roll!!  Honestly, I felt like a naughty teenager ;-D. In my 60 years, you could count on one hand that I’ve been tipsy but I would need many, many hands if it was for Mr C ;-D

Once I knew I was better heading home, Rebecca and Nat walked me to the station and saw I got on the train.  Mr C was waiting on the platform the other end…. I think he thought I was paralytic rather than a bit woozy and feeling quite ok by the time I arrived.

Oh and I had been awake since 4am so that probably didn’t help the situation either lol…. How many excuses can I think of ;-D

An early night was had and I’m sure I will be teased for days to come.
