Cathedral - Santiago de Compostelo

Although this is an abstract of the interior of the Cathedral, there were  many possibilities and so I just picked the one reprocessed it using Graphite. In fact, the original was abstract enough but one has to make choices and this I felt perhaps represented for me the 280 Km cycle ride from Porto over the past few days. Very cold much of the way and now very wet (5 - 10 degrees so a lot colder than Wellington NZ iwhere we started this journey).. I have my certificate but one has to say that standing in a cathedral ‘doesn’t make me a christian any more than standing in a garage makes me a car. But well worth the journey, the historical insights, the dubious tomb of St James (the Apostle),  and the medieval architectural experience (something we certainly dont have in NZ).
